Dr. Saunders obtained her medical degree in 1992 from the University of Alberta, Canada. She completed her residency at the University of Calgary in 1994 and was Board Certified in 1998. She has practiced in Washington since 1996 and has been with Women's & Family Health Specialists since 1997.
She has particular interests in pediatrics, women’s health, and preventative medicine with a strong emphasis on patient and parent education.

Dr. Saunders and her husband are very active with their 2 young sons and love the outdoors. She is an avid runner who enjoys the balance of work and home.
