Insurance
When you call for an appointment you will be asked about insurance coverage. Verifying that we participate in your plan will save you extra out-of-pocket expense. You will be asked to bring your insurance card to your appointment. It is necessary to have accurate identification numbers and the address of your insurance.

Many plans have a co-pay that you are expected to pay each visit. Check with your insurance if you are uncertain of your co-pay amount or for any other requirements of your plan. The number of plans as well as the complexity and variety of coverage issues makes it impossible for our office to accurately track your insurance benefits. We will verify Maternity benefits and give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs for OB services. We will set up a payment plan for you to pay these expenses during the course of your OB care.

Women's Health Specialists has a written financial policy which you will be asked to read and sign at your first visit. Payment can be made via check, cash, or VISA/Mastercard.

Protected Health Information
Women's Health Specialists will provide a Notice of Privacy Practices for your review and signature. We comply with HIPAA privacy regulations. We will not disclose your information to others unless you tell us to do so, or unless the law authorizes or requires us to do so.
